Have borrowed another Speedlite 580 flash to see how they operate together. Had a bit of fun in the dining room setting them up and testing them.

Then went out to a gig putting one onto the speakers and set myself up the other side of the stage.
Failure. The remote unit did not fire.

Still trying to work out what went wrong because when I got home, with everything on the same settings, the remote unit fired.
An interesting dilemma.
