A brief sojourn into Wales

Hitched a lift into mid-Wales over the Bank Holiday to the source of the River Severn and the River Wye - a region known as Plynlimon. With someone that means an awful lot to me.

Couldn't resist a panorama over the reservoir:
Llyn Clywedod
Discovered on my return this was where four members of one family lost their lives in a tragic car accident - what a beautiful place for such a sad thing to happen.

On the way stopped at Llanidloes - where this butchers sign caught my eye:
"Life's a treat when you're a suspended sheep"

Made it all the way over to Aberystwyth:
and under the pier:

When you are friends with someone you can do these things. That's what being friends is all about. Helping them find their way when they are a little lost, being supportive, showing them there is still joy and happiness and having a laugh. Nothing more is required in friendship. Shame it has to be spoiled ... And for what? I cannot answer that. Only one person can. And I, frankly, do not want to hear it.
