I need an office

I cannot work in the lounge and dining room anymore.

Cats and housemate have forced me to consider how I continue to be able to work effectively, without interruption and keep my work safe from destruction by cats.

My first response was to see what offices are available in a short commute from my house. All the estate agents want me to travel more than 5 miles - no point in that. I began looking closer to home. I do have something in mind but needs input (and hard work) from 2 other people and is a long term idea. In the short term then I need to think even closer to home - like my house.

When the work to repair the collapsed ceiling caused by the water leak from the loft has happened; the decorator has been and made everywhere look great and the new carpet has been laid - I am going to make the front bedroom into an office - where no housemate or cats are allowed.

Ultimately I would like a garden shed/office - but converting the front bedroom is a good first step. I have used the front bedroom as an office in the past and it worked very well.
