Finally got the chance this afternoon to rehang some of my favourite black and white photographs. These images have been in my life for a very long time. I will have captured them when I first had a camera - my Olympus OM10. I will have processed the film myself and developed the photos using my friends darkroom.
I usually hang them going up the stairs on a diagonal - but for a change I decided to use the space next to the window on the stairs and hang them vertically. In this position they will be seen everyday as I walk up the stairs and they will not get any direct sunlight on them. Win Win.
For the record they are photographs of my very best friends horses (Julie). The top two are a grey Polish Arab called Calvados and the bottom one is O'Hara a chestnut Thoroughbred poking her head around the bottom of the entry to my Dad's terrace house.
